And they were nice to most of them, in a sort of "laughing with you" way, but AVGN's impersonation felt a bit more hostile, I think it's the part where he goes "I'm uneducated about video games because I grew up in a Nintendo household" or something like that. You don't really see that kind of personal attacks in the other impersonations, like "I'm an old geezer who did some irrelevant job for Sierra in the 90s and now I pretend to like video games for youtube cash". If they were all like that, that would be funny, but why just the James one? Is it because, maybe, James makes a lot more money off Youtube than Game Sack? And behind all the "banter" and "acting", Joe really is an aspie Sega fanboy who is resentful about a more popular youtuber that happens to like Nintendo?

Joe has shit taste in games, he only praises shitty early Sega Genesis games he played as a kid like all these horribly outdated racing games because he has nostalgia for them.
He also acts as if he's all "mature nintendo is for kiddis" and his favorite game of all time is Castle of Illusion (great game, don't get me wrong, but you can't say that is your fav game when you pose as a guy who dislikes kiddy games).
You can tell he's also always nervous in front of the camera, has very poor social skills and is actually BAD at video games (see Playing with Sacks where Dave always wins without even trying and Joe tries too hard but still loses, even with his beloved Saturn control pad).

Dave may not be the best e-celeb or the best retro reviewer, but you can tell the guy had a normal life, is socially apt, did sports all his youth and has a family.
