why do people hate this again? cause it makes it too easy by telling you what's coming up or because the sound is annoying? These sections were always some of my favorites in the game. Much better than the boring shooter parts.

It's not hard, it's even easier than the motorcycle sections from the psx megaman x games, so i guess you must be talking about the voice. I particularly liked it, it somehow fits well with the song.

As a kid I had zero problems with this level. Now, it's impossible for me. I thought the whole dexterity loss as you get older was a meme, but it's true.

Annoying doesn't mean it's hard. A reason people probably hate it is because it's a series of autoscrollers where the instructions are pretty much force fed to you.
As for me, I don't hate it in particular, but I do think some of the jumps are stupid, especially if you want to get the screws. If you miss them, you have to go all the way back, and that's pretty annoying.

Git gud its not even hard, the timing is always the same after the last slide or jump voice clip plays

The only two I ever really liked of these levels was the Ape Escape rollercoaster and SMRPG's Mode 7 cart.

I know, that's why I assumed the hatred was due to the voice. The instructions add a nice touch because, at least in my opinion, it's kinda counterintuitive if you want to get the bolts. I don't know what you mean by saying some jumps are stupid, but as far as megaman goes they were all pretty standard. I don't remember the checkpoint being that far behind but I'll also keep that in mind next time I play it.

I'm a sucker for snowboard/surfboard/minecart/ski/skateboart/rollers/bike/automobile/motorbike/tiger/polarbear autoscroller levels... the one where you start snowboarding and fall on a river in the mighty morphin power rangers: the movie game for SNES is one of my favorites.
