A = jump
B= attack
Any variation on this makes the game completely unplayable.

He's trolling. Just ignore and move on. Sage if you must bite on the bait.

Fuck off, James Rolfe.
That did trip me up in Zillion The Triformation

true
B is run in Super Mario Bros. Do you really struggle with that game, OP.

B is also attack, so no.
>have 3rd party dendy controller
>A on the left side
B = jump
A = attack
Down = goes up through doors

That's what turned me away from fighting games at first, I fucking hated having to use Up for jump.

Who else loves when games do this?
I should be fairly easy to build an adapter which remaps A and B on the NES controller, right? All you have to do is get an extension cord and switch the two wires for the respective buttons as the input is parallel and not serial, isn't it?

Never mind, that's not how it works.
