I've been checking Treasure threads lately and I've only seen passionate haters, then people saying they like their games, or some of them, and that's it. The main argument in these threads is that the hate gets a bit exaggerated. Of treasure games I enjoyed Gunstar Heroes alot (too short though) and Bangai-o remains one of my favorites. Astro Boy was awesome. Alien Soldier is okay. Dynamite Headdy probably the only Treasure game i distinctly did not enjoy, Mischief Makers kinda sucks too, and Ikaruga is good but severely overrated.

The international version is better. It's more challenging and has some cool graphical changes. There are a few sound errors, but some of the on screen text and sprites were improved. It also removes all the stupid text from the boss fights, which gives it more of an arcade feeling.
