Why isn't Jackal in your top 10 NES games list?

Because it has shitty screen scrolling in which the screen scrolls only when you're like 10% close to the edge. It should've been something like 30%.

This. It has quite a few cheap deaths. Also the graphics are kinda ugly. Still a great game but it wouldn't make my top ten.

Jackal is pretty fucking GOAT. I'm slightly mad I never knew about it as a kid. I demo'd it a few years ago and immediately went to ebay and got a cartridge. This was back before everything turned so outrageously expensive.
