Actually the game is already the right aspect ratio, it just has the option to stretch out when you're playing on an emulator.

I don't care how my TV or resolutions work. I had no problem with how the game looks on my TV. But then again, I'm not sitting too close to the TV, unlike some people, to notice some "flaws" on the game.
