Megaman games are too easy/boring.

If I want a good platformer I'll fire up Ghosts 'n Goblins or Shinobi.

X 1, 2 and 4 are my personal highlights.

X 3 is fun but the bad slow down and terrible upgraded buster really annoys me. I actually sometimes forgo the buster upgrade altogether.

The romhack "Zero Project" fixes the delay on the upgraded charge shot. It doesn't just make Zero fully playable, it also improves things as X. Check it out.

And so on and so forth. Rarely if ever do you have to rely on pure skill in a Megaman game, it's more like rock-papper-scissors where you know what hand your opponent will do.
