it's like 70% south american players who are absurdly good though (and then 20% asians who are absurdly fucking good, and then the rest are people from anywhere else that are pretty good), but it's also extremely easy to find a match

had a painfully memorable experience where I was completely and utterly bodied by this Mai player from Canada, never fought his other characters
he 3-0'd me thrice and disconnected, might have been the worst shame of my life
that was when I realized that I'm not merely kind of bad, I'm fucking trash at KOF, I barely got her down to 50% ever, I didn't even know pressure that strong existed
it's embarrassing as fuck to say, but the only thing I can think of to relate it too is the scenes in Bleach where someone who's absurdly fucking strong just blows weaklings away by standing there, it felt like being on the receiving end of that
