Can this thing be emulated? What emulator, and how?
Would love to play full color Donkey Kong 94 with Daisy's digitized "HELP HELP!" but I don't own a SNES anymore
>owned a SGB
>sell it
>buy dk'94, but can only play it on my GB pocket
>sell it along with my GB collection some time after
>get a SGB again
Now I'm on the hunt for DK'94 again.
I was dumb when I was a kid, didn't sold all of my games, but many of them, regretted almost immediately.
I thought most emulators have a setting for it. At least to get the boarders to run.
Some Gameboy/GBC emulators also have an SGB mode. Off the top of my head I know BGB does.
I think you can also do it with bsnes but I don't know how.

I know that feel man. I traded probably a couple thousand dollars (in today's money) worth of SNES and game boy stuff back in '98-'99ish to a Game X Change for like 4 ps1 games and an aftermarket controller. One of the games was Army Men: Sarge's Heroes. Kinda tough to live that shit down

The SGB palettes are not always accurate in gameboy emulators for some reason. It's mostly fine for games that have specific super gameboy support.

In that case

Last time i checked, GBC emulators do not have options to select palette at bootscreen.

I think VisualBoy Advance does all the Super Gameboy stuff. It certainly does the borders and special colour palletes.

Does it do the correct speed like the JP Super Game Boy 2?

in bsnes you can switch which super gameboy bios you use, the original or super game boy 2
