Hexen 2 is obscure enough but Heretic 2 gets mentioned even less, pretty weird considering that the original Heretic has always been more popular than Hexen.
I didnt like how you spent half the game having elf AIDS, and the music gave me anxiety for some reason, but it it was pretty memorable, it had a cool dismemberment system, and using the tome of power to boost your spells is just as fun as the original.
Kinda wish I could play in a modern system and get the goddam music to work properly, its the only reason I havent replayed it much over the years
>Games only you care about
That's regional.
Here in my country/state/city, people only care about GTA V, Counter-Strike, FIFA and Call of Duty (newer ones).
I'm the odd one for liking Age of Empires 2, Civilization series, AI War, id-tech 1 games (Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Strife, Chex etc), Artemis SBS.

No modern system will utilize the A3D 2.0 this game supports either.
Earthsiege. People only talk about Starsiege or even Tribes where it's no longer a Mecha game.
Also the first Heavy Gear.

Mail Order Monsters (C64)
I feel like this game doesn't get enough attention.

Earthsiege 2 was better, but I'm right there with you, Anon. I still have my CDs.

you can play that game in a modern resolution but you have to take one of the .dlls from quake 2 to get it to run.
Outtrigger for the dreamcast. it's basicly a ut clone made by sega. It has tiny levels so its a spam fest. It's not partically good i just like the novelty of a first person shooter designed by japs

isn't that like an arcade game? those arcade FPS games looked like they were damn fun. I saw UT arcade cabs before but never got to try it
