So I got myself one of these. What arcade games should I play on it and what is the best way to set up my laptop or xbox (360 or one) to use it?

Mario Bros
as for question 2, man I dunno, my xbox360 controller just werks in linux
Those can be good to play shmups on, but I prefer a pad now. The best answer you're gonna get is decidedly not /vr/ though

It works with things on steam like nidhog, idk if it works on just any random thing though

Why? I can't remember playing an arcade game that came out after the n64? I remember rampage and carnevil really well. Can't play carnevil on this though

considering it's the Xbox version, it will work right off the bat as soon as you connect it. On windows it will have to install the drivers automatically but after that it's ready to go.

Yeah
Rastan Saga 2, called Nastar Warrior in the US.
This game was at my local swimming pool when I was a kid, and I spent all my fucking quarters on it whenever we went.

I'm not sure why you would need one for arcade games other than fightans. Belt scrollers work just fine with a d-pad and unless you're a shooter connoisseur who has to have everything be authentic I think a d-pad is more accurate for that too. I have a Rap4 Kai and try to use it as little as possible because I'm worried the stick will wear out.
Fighting games are really the only ones specifically designed with a stick in mind. And a modern stick is kind of overkill for most old arcade games that don't rely on precise inputs.

I'm kind of the same way with my old RAP VX-SA kai. I've had it for 5 years and it still looks and functions like a new stick.
