I actually was just investigating this yesterday. His last post was on twitter on March 21st, saying he has some interviews lined up, and some "real life" issues had come up. Is it health related?

If someone hasn't already, people should make backups of his site, and look towards continuing the project on their own. We should also work towards translating the GSLA site, which is a Japanese archive of old dev interviews from often obscure defunct magazines.
