I like RPG's a lot but there's one problem, the start. In a game like Daggerfall, your movement speed starts out low and it makes the game so much more sluggish especially with how it also affects turning with your mouse. How do you solve this specific problem in other RPG's?

Does it? I just thought Daggerfall had a shithouse maximum mouse sensitivity. I solved the problem by increasing the sensitivity externally. You're using Dosbox, I assume. Add this to your dosbox config:
sensitivity=400
If that's too fast try 200. But for the love of fuck remember to comment it out before playing any other games or your mouse will be super fast in them all.
