Hello. I have a modded SS with a ram cart. I've never really pled fighting games, aside from stuff like Soul Calibur. I know the Saturn has a ton of good ones, but don't know where to start as a newfag. I want to learn basic stuff. I grabbed pic related just to test if the ram cart is working but it's super fast paced and confusing. What would you recommend me and a similarly inept friend picking up to learn the basics?

Click game genre to organize by genre
Then after you burn those
Start getting the hidden gems
Marvel vs Capcom 1&2
Make sure to get every single shoot em up
There are so many good ones on the system it's unbelievable
Also recommend "time traveling " by resetting the system clock to Christmas and playing nights Christmas

I think it's just the speed. I've played SF 2 before, very casually and it definitely wasn't this fast.
I've seen the list, I know what the good games are already. Shmups are my main thing which is why I got one anyway. (Is it worth grabbing a hori arcade pad for shmups? I really like the Saturn d pad as it is)
I'll grab SF2 for Saturn. How's KoF and Waku Waku in terms of approachability and combo difficulty?
