Who else played this?
I 100%'d it with a few S ranks and average A rank.

I saw this for $10 the other day.
Is it pretty much neccesary to have people to play with? Is it multiplayer only?
>>4114513
I played it alone so no, not really. I actually have no idea what it's like with other players.
>>4114513
It's a single-player game.
Now that you mention it, it would be great to have a VS mode for the dodgeball stage.
Really solid game. Got almost all of the gold gems, but only ever got like 2 or 3 s ranks. Watching s-rank runs of levels almost feels like watching a TAS.
If I could pick a single game to get an easy to use level editor, it'd be this one. I really loved the combat heavy stages where you tear through waves of enemies, I'd love levels like that which also involve more platforming skill.

Why would you buy a game without knowing something as basic as how many players it supports?

Did I say I bought it?

Pains me right in my anus hole that I traded this game in.
It´s as japanese-weird as awesome. I as well 100%ed it (20 years ago).
For newcomers: Shake ALL the things.
I wanna try it out. It has a unique aesthetic and style and I love platformers.
Would you say it's one of the best platformers ever or no?
Really want to play it but ive only seen it for around $20 here. Trying to get it for $10 or $15 max
>>4115860
You really gonna cheapskate for 5 dollars?
20 sounds like a good price to me.
HALP MEE MARINAAAA!!

Good but short. There's a hidden golden gem in every level that unlocks the ending and a bit of incentive for speed running levels to extend your playing time.

Might be the only person to ever say this but, it was the reason i got into N64. I had been Sony beat boy for years and a friend had an N64 instead. We played this for hours getting to the track & field section not realising we were supposed mash the d-pad not the yellow buttons to boost in the races...
Anyway, years later in 2003 i found a £12 N64 with a copy of Mischief makers and then got into all the other handful of N64 classics from there.

I was stuck on the track and field shit for literally years because I didn't know you could boost with the dpad, or that it was faster than the c buttons.

What the fuck. No. Why would you even think that.

Has any other game done something this awesome?

I actually like that the NA boxart was so simple. All the bosses and characters were a lot more surprising than they would've been if the whole cast was plastered on the front.
The JP artwork is better-appreciated after playing through the game.
