I think its more hilarious back when the atari 2600 was being advertised they would say things just like this ad where the graphics are so good or realistic. and you look at it and even though back then it was impressive but no one would ever think that a few colored squares was realistic in any way

I remember an ad that tried to convince you the Neo Geo was 24 bit because it had a 16 bit Motorola 68k processor plus an 8 bit Z80 sound processor. Despite the fact the Genesis also had those exact same specs.
