Sup /vr/
Can you recommend me some nice atmospheric NOT GAMES.
You know, games without all that conventional vidya stuff like enemies, deaths, highscores, difficulty levels and clear win states.
Pic related.

Kolibri or echo the dolphin count?
The soundtrack and atmosphere= godtier
I was blown away by echo as kid
I wish I could remember the title but there was a Myst-style adventure game that predates Myst that was centred out the works of a Japanese artist. It was well ahead of its time and impossible to find but it did exist and I wish I could find it.

Ecco Jr maybe
Aquanaut's Holiday
The Frog For Whom The Bell Tolls
How about bird week?
It's vaguely non-game-ish.
Sonic World from Sonic Jam

Well if you like simulators then every simulator ever. Edutainment shit. Tons of porn. Non porn multimedia discs. Either of the last two that sort of pretend to be a game like girls in motion or good island cafe.
>>4113032
>Pic related.
How so?
>>4113109
>Well if you like simulators then every simulator ever.
Maybe if you only play gaijin garbage. Taito made great video gamey simulators, for example.
>>4113130
Please name some, I only know their arcades.
>>4113137
Densha de Go!
Jet de Go!
Power Shovel
>>4113145
Thanks, didn't know those.
LSD: Dream Emulator

Ps1 treasures of the deep
I loved this one too as a kid
Underwater exploration no deaths I remember correctly
Mushi Taro on PS1.
Bug collecting game, haven't played it, but it looks pretty light on gameplay department, although it probably has some high scoring / ranking.

Why did they even bother localizing in german, most germans I know can speak english.
This and the sequel.
>>4113032
I'd get that game if only for the Hiroshi Nagai art.

That "game" is chill as fuck. The loading times really let it down though.
>>4113105
Going from the Sonic World hub world into the museum and watching the Japanese Sonic 3 commercial was maximum A E S T H E T I C.
Screensavers are non-games and retro.

Because everything in shitty Germany gets localized. Subtitles in movies aren't enough, they insist on recording german voices for all movies released. I watched Terminator 2 in german and it was horrible torture.
>>4113695
I was going to but I decided to buy a Hiroshi Nagai print instead.
>>4113032
buy a CD-I
>Lack of love on Sega Dreamcast
Has enemies but an excellent soundtrack and atmosphere technically you can avoid all the enemies and just fuck around

How's Kaze no Notam a not game?
>All just good old simulators.
>arcade games aren't different from the likes of Microsoft Simulator autism
Have you played any of them you moron?
>>4114992
Because it's defined as a not game in the OP and that's what we're discussing here.
Have you read any of the thread you moron? lol
Virtual Springfield.
Not a game, but just the ability to explore Springfield, and a big love letter to early Simpsons.
The most game thing was collecting trading cards, and a few mini game style things which were super basic.
After Dark.

>Most Germans I KNOW can speak English
wow mind blows
>>4115117
I remember seeing this being advertised on the old VHS tapes. I always wanted it but could never find it.
>>4113145
isnt Densha de Go! on dreamcast too? maybe i should burn it for my dreamcast, i like train sims
>>4115096
> it's defined as a not game in the OP
It isn't because it doesn't fit OP's own criteria.
>games without all that conventional vidya stuff like enemies, deaths, highscores, difficulty levels and clear win states.
>>4115215
The coven ;^)
>>4113695
How much did you pay?
It's not a bad game. Kinda experimental and very chill. It's worth it.
>>4115301
£6. In case with instructions but no Obi.
>>4115345
Eh, not bad. Hope you've seen some gameplay footage before so you know what it's like.
Even so, I've also bought a game before just because the box and label looked nice or in my case, curious.
>>4115360
Bombliss is fucking awesome. Although it seems the puzzle mode is identical in every single version which is kind of disappointing.
>>4113705
YES, fucking Johnny Castaway.
A very random game I got on back in the day. Would never remember it if the CD hadn't survived 16 years unused. Comfy, to an extent, non-game for sure.
>>4115269
>op asks for games like pic related
>pic related doesn't fit ops criteria
Retarded and autistic. Always a winning combination.
>>4115117
best simpson game IMO
>>4116808
>OP asks for non games, describes what he means by it and posts the game that doesn't fit his description, either because he hasn't played it or because he is retarded
>dumb cunt who hasn't played the game either argues that it's a non game because OP says so
Fuck off already imbecile.
>>4117636
>dumb cunt argues that OP is asking what he asked
What a dumb cunt!
Sperg harder sport
Bump for justice
Most of the "games" in this thread FUCKING rule
