What's the best version of this game?

Dreamcast
Epoch Casette Vision
Either the PS2 version or N64. The PS version is okay, despite the graphics being downgraded, but it has a playable 2D level.

For graphics; PC = Dreamcast > PS2 > N64 => PS1
Sound-wise N64 is shit.
So, PC and Dreamcast are best, followed by PS2.

The PS version has a lot of levels and parts of levels cut. The only advantages of PS1 are the 2D part and in my opinion a better final boss

dreamcast
3ds version might be good too since it is a port of the dreamcast version but i havent played it

It's different but not shit

Only if you use homebrew to boost the framerate.

I can get the PC version to run on Windows 10 but maybe not fullscreen. The keyboard controls suck and you can't use a controller without xpadder or something like that. But it has great graphics.

DC > PC > N64 > PS2 > 3DS > PSX > DS

I,ve already been on your boat OP, and I mean I researched a lot, the Dreamcast version is the best of the bunch hands down. PS2 is nice for a second playtrough. I wonder if 3 is as good as 2, but not Retro anyways

You just need to add some .dll file to the game folder, my 360 controller works perfectly with it.
