Vegas Dream on NES is by several orders of magnitude the best gambling game. I'd also recommend Vegas Stakes on SNES.

By this thinking you would be someone with a fast fall if you would play in RL.
You should remember that the games on consoles are programmed fair and sometimes with a pro player attitude to give him a feeling of success.
RL stuff is programmed with maximum profit for the holders and never know if they even cheat against you. Sometimes those let you win small amounts to give you a fix and hope you are dumb enough to go on and think you can win big money, which of course never would.
So it's better for you that in your country it's banned.
