Wii 240p emulation

Which standalone wii emus are preferred over Retroarch Wii?

My biggest issue with Wii emulation are the controller. Wii Classic Controller pro is great, but you have this wiimote tethered it it like some kind of tumor. On top of that, I've tried like 3 different brands of chinese knockoff battery packs and they're all shit, and you can't even find official ones anymore.

If there was some way to connect the Wii Classic Controller to the GC controller port, it'd be perfect.

I hooked the NES mini controller up to the Wiimote and will do the same with the SNES mini controller. In combination with 240p emulation and a CRT it really feels like the real deal. I love it. The tethered controller don´t bother me. The Wiimote goes into my pocket and I barely notice it while playing.

There is a homebrew mod for snes9x gx that allows you to plug in a PS3 controller, that's what I use. PS3's D-pad is very good for retro and you never have to worry about batteries ever again.

I haven't used my Wii in months so I'm not sure what the mod is called but I'm sure it will be easy to google.

I dont notice it. And I switched to Wii/VCR 240p emulation setup because of the input lag.(And flickering).
