Hey /vr/ I've been testing out ePSXe on my PC and it's not handling too well.
My system is fairly recent but is getting the same results I'd get on my phone.
How are the other PS emulators?
I've been looking to switch over to PCSXR since I've heard some good stuff about it, but what do you guys typically use here?
Use PCSX-R PGXP with PeteOpenGL2Tweak
for BIOS use scph7502

Thanks anon

I use retroarch beetle_hw core. It's essentially mednefen with some .ore graphical features.

If he's struggling to run it now, will this really help him?

Not him but if my Intel HD 3000 can run PGXP at 3x Native, so can he.
Is PCSX-R being hosted anywhere other than codeplex?
Codeplex is shutting down in like 5 months.

If you can run it, use mednafen.

No$PSX is the best emulator I've found. Its free and easy to install

That could be a problem.

I'm shocked

I don't have ton of experience with emulators but I have been using Xebra and it is the eastiest and best emulator I have worked with so far. There are no plugins to configure and it has universal bios. There isn't a ton of info on it but I use this vid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq1ktz79ve4&t=898s

Psx emulator is a good choise
What's a good way of emulating PSX games in 240p? I currently use my Wii to play just about everything, but the Wii can only do 480i and 480p with WIISXR.
>Raspberry Pi
I already know the RPi can do 240p and emulate PSX pretty well, but I've heard nightmares about the input lag. If the input lag isn't nightmarish and I'm just misinformed, it'll be nice if you explain why people think that.

This is the only correct answer.
