It's hard to find a game like pilotwings, which mixes arcade gameplay with flight simulation, especially if you have into mind 99% of pilotwings isn't about actual war or dogfights, otherwise check out Ace Combat, but that's more similar to Star Fox's all range mission than PW.
Racing Aces for Sega CD has sort of a pilotwings vibe, but it's not nearly as good sadly.

Of course...Snes version is ace...N64 version feels different but not totally...

Fucking Pilotwings Resort bull shit is errr...bullshit. They should have kept the same formula.

I'm gutted it's not in the Snes Mini line up. It's got the fucking best ambient music ever.
