what retro games got good ports or remakes on the NDS? so far I see:
>Atari Greatest Hits, Vol 1 and 2 (Tempest, Asteroids etc)
>Mario 64
>Konami Arcade Hits (Gradius, Contra, etc)
>Namco Museum (Pac-man, Galaga etc)
>Sonic 1-3
>Dragon Quest (are these ok?)
>remakes of: Space Invaders, Dig Dug, Arkanoid...
anything else? and what can it accurately emulate?

Namco Museum is worth picking up for single card Pac Man VS multiplayer. I guess that's coming to Switch now (need two games+Switches) but seriously, it's some of the best multiplayer around. Arcade ports are all good as well. Worth the <$5 you'll pay.
I remember liking the Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 DS port. Controls aren't the best but it seemed like a solid port. Contra 4 has average ports of the NES games, although 4 is clearly the reason to get the game. Frogger has a port in Helmet Chaos which is good if you dig Frogger as much as I do.

this is a very contentious area area anon
personally i really liked the phonetic spelling and never talked to my party so i really like the ds ports.
Resident Evil port is good on classic mode.
The sonic ports suck, too laggy
not /vr/ but mega man zero collection is great (didn't like 4 though so i didn't beat it)
mario 64 plays well on a 3ds with the circle pad
