So this is a Satellaview game that just got a cartridge release? That's neat. Does it restore any features that had been lost in previously available dumps? I know that some Satellaview games had certain assets that were only streamed, meaning they weren't present in the data that could be dumped.

I think it had a online high score board but other then that its a fully playable game that didnt have any unique online features like the zelda and mario satellaview games. I'm happy to see this game get a official SNES cart release though i would of prefer it be done when the game was still relevant, but at least people who refuse to emulate can enjoy this sweet platformer beat em up gem

Got in the HD-Retrovision cables. It's not like I could have used the money on a BVM or PVM as they don't exist here for any reasonable prices.

Where are you from? Your E's look like backward 3's or a pound sign, is that normal where you live? Just curious.
>>
>>4100048
I thought you already have JP21/RGB Scart cables for most of your systems.
And Framemeister, XRGB3 and OSSC.
Why would you get Component cables.

USA, it's just how my handwriting quirks. I don't think it's a regional thing, just more of a laziness and quick way to write a "E".

>>4101127
I do, I mostly play on my PC CRT monitors which was all I could afford. Since the Sony GDM-FW900s are widescreen and 1920x1200 are their best resolution (for my old bad eyes) they still function well for my computing, modern consoles, retro computing, and consoles through XRGB2/OSSC/Framemeister. However, I have been considering something bigger if the somewhat recently passed minimum wage increase is true, maybe I could have a living room with a large TV. My uncle and step-sister's mother both have 32" Sony Vega TVs with component inputs that both do not want nor have the ability to move them from their current positions. My workplace also has a 36" CRT that is neglected as well, a KV36HS510 which also has component inputs. The sad part is that I do not have the means to transport any of those heavy TVs, nor the friends to help me lift 170lbs. (or more) to my place, but I am hoping to find a way. As I have pointed out in the middle of nowhere USA there are no BVMs nor PVMs so component on consumer TV sets are the best I can have.
>>
>>4101226
>so component on consumer TV sets are the best I can have
So, why would you spend money on these cables instead of buying component transcoder for RGB cables you already have?
If money is really an issue, you are better off with transcoder for multiple systems.

I guess I don't want to constantly unplug a system and plugging it in at another one. I read somewhere here that the JP-21 or SCART heads are not durable. Plus it would be nice to make use of the spares of the SFC, Saturn, and Genesis to reduce wear on the expensive JP21 cables as well. I don't have much so I treasure what little I have and try to make them last.
>>
>>4101310
You have a gscartsw though, right? No need to unplug stuff. Or no?

Also SCART heads are durable enough for daily plugging-unplugging.

Yeah, it is great for my PC setup. It is left alone since it auto switches, so it is a device which you can set and forget. However, I ran into the issue that the creator no longer makes the JP21 variant (but left files up for others to replicate) so it did not receive the filter updates nor do I have a backup in case it fails down the line. The nice thing was people were getting rid of Selecty21s for super cheap when the thing was announced and I jumped on, but now those are costly too (and they only swap between 3 inputs, and I can only at most daisy chain 3 with the cables I do have at the moment). The gScartSW has a 2nd simultaneous output which is a DB15 that I can be used for BNC4 to PVM/BVM monitors, and that's why I was searching around for them to no luck. Still a standalone big tube TV in the living room with nice colors and sharpness for games sound nice and comfy to me since component is pretty close to RGB.

I read on /vr/ saying that the pins can shift into the head and that's scared me from doing too much. Now I hear things about the packapunch heads and extra shielded heads retro_console_accessories offer that I never got, and it seems like a huge money sink that one of those new super insulated cables can cost as much those component cables. It is a relief to read they are durable.

extreme/Masaya's not a bootleg maker, anon. They released the PC Engine Shubibiman trilogy on Wii U virtual console, PSN, and Project EGG. (Along with misc other things, like that Leynos remake on PS4.)
For whatever reason they made a cartridge for the SFC one. I wonder if it's an attention-grab before putting it on download services.

Thanks. That's good to know. Everything else I read about it said it was not licensed and only named the amazon seller. Probably because it was all poorly translated from one jap web page.
>>
>>4103593
>not licensed
The cart itself isn't licensed by Nintendo. But obviously that will be the case for any modern releases on old hardware.
In OP's picture it says that at the bottom of the box: 任天堂社のライセンス製品ではありません。
There aren't any copyright or patent issues with making homebrew SFC carts so that's OK.
(The box and manual never say Super Famicom anywhere, only "SFC," so I guess they are scared to touch trademarks. Though I'm pretty sure merely conveying the information that your software runs on a particular piece of hardware isn't a trademark problem.)
