what am I in for?
Hardcore pornography.
A comfy world full of nothingness and very few NPCs and dialogues. Lots of random encounters and battles and tough bosses.
It's a lonely journey without companions.

so... dark souls 64?
Wasting your time. But you're probably a NEET so it doesn't matter.
>>4080461
Wouldn't that be every video game ever unless you make money out of playing it?
>>4080427
Walking around in circles simulator. Every battle flips your direction 360
>>4080461
it was bucks but i got snowboard kids too so i can play with buds.
>>4080476
*5 bucks
>>4080476
nice rhyme
>>4080427
so is itfun?
>>4080471
No. At least play a game that's good.
>>4080473
Actually, at the end of the battle, Brian turns to face the direction you were originally walking.
Having fun discovering spells and using them. There are plenty of neat ones to use from homing types to gigantic elemental pillars to a massive air cutter.
>>4080618
neat
>>4080427
You are in for a waste of your time stark reminder that the N64 had very few good RPGs. But if you already played Ogre Battle and youre just looking for more N64 RPGs you don't have much choices. This and Aidyn Chronicles are the epitome of boring and empty worlds.
>>4080618
Too bad they all fucking useless except for the multi hitting Avalanche
>>4080618
Why the fuck is homing even a thing when all enemies are stationary anyway. They don't move.
>>4080427
Level up water first, you'll unlock a healing spell. Then level up rock, you'll unlock avalanche.
>>4080890
This. Otherwise the game is hard as balls
>>4080427
repetitive with plain graphics and no story
poopy diapers
>>4080471
You're confusing enrichment with monetary gain.
>>4080883
so you can do this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZNirZN-8qA
Play the Game Boy Color version.
Hated it. Slow and not fun. Interesting b attle system for the first few hours.
>>4080427
i genuinely enjoyed it, and thought using combinations of elements to make spells was cool
music is pretty comfy
graphics are pretty unremarkable
no separate battle screen, which is somewhat immersive (for a n64 game)
most people don't like it, though
>>4080890
i was always kind of nervous every time i used the rock spell (thinking i would overshoot the enemy)
Quest 64 isn't so much a game as it is a treatise of Nintendo's reckless abandonment of the people that brought them to the dance in the first place: Their third parties
A fact that continued to haunt them with the Gamecube, Wii-U and now Switch
>>4083165
spicy comment
it's true though.
>>4083165
I remember that picture of that glossy PS with that ugly PS1 stamp on it and your threads about N64 and RPGs that you kept spamming on both /vr/ and /v/
>>4080447
this. And I like it.
Don't go for it expecting a traditional RPG with parties and lots of exposition. This RPG is its own thing.
>>4080480
what?
>>4080875
Aidyn Chronicles is awesome. One of my favorite RPGs of all time.
also, the N64 has Paper Mario, Hybrid Heaven, Custom Robo 1 e 2, ogre battle, shiren 2, shadowgate 64.
>>4083217
Yeah all good games.
>>4083217
>shadowgate 64.
I love that games atmosphere, but that's not an RPG - it's an adventure game
>>4083230
What about gauntlet legends? It's an action RPG.
>>4082915
i saw that in the shop today. just might do that.
>>4082915
I've heard good things about that, how is it?
