how do i get into fallout? could never really got into western rpgs of the era, they're almost too indept and i wound up overwhelmed by everything and end up dropping them
any hints you could give me for getting into fallout? i never feel like im playing right and i die a lot

Fallout is actually not that deep, you can always read a guide for basic stuff, or watch a let's play for the first minutes.

I'm the same, I never played CRPGs. But then I really enjoy New Vegas, so much that I played through Fallout 2 and really enjoyed it.

You have two options:

Just read the official guide.

Go to gamefaqs or some shit like this and look for tips before you start it. This way you're not going to waste points in useless stuff.

Also save a lot because RNG can fuck you, and just play the game, it's honestly one of the most simple cRPGs you can play. After 1~2 hours you are going to have everything figured out.

I love crpgs, but new vegas is like crack to me. I have played that game more than any other and thats crazy for how many games i play. I need to play fallout 2 if you played cause of new vegas. Ive played 1 and it was good, also ive played fallout online, which is actually pretty, pretty, pretty good.
