Can anyone recommend me a great Sega Genesis/Mega Drive USB Controller that works well with an emulator on PC?

An adapter

I would rather not usr an adaptor since I don't own a Genesis/Mega Drive controller. I am just looking for a good Genesis/Mega Drive USB Controller that feels good and plays well with an emulator.

I wouldn't recommend the retrolink Saturn controller if you're using it for long periods of time. Playin' Burnout Paradise broke my D-pad for me, but I was using that controller on good ol' Mame.

Just buy a Dualshock.

Is the Hyperkin GN6 Premium Genesis USB Controller any good? I have heard mostly positive things from reviews of it but Hyperkin doesn't have the best track record.

That's what I am currently using now but I hate the D-Pad on it.

An official Sega Satrun USB controller, if you can find them.
Retrolink ones are cheap knockoffs.

This is the only real answer, which sucks since they're so fucking expensive and SEGA stopped making them so the limited stock just keeps getting pricier.
The alternative I'd suggest is grabbing an original Saturn model 2 controller and a USB adapter. The total should be about $30 and it'd easily be the better option. Just be sure to open up and clean the controller once you get it, used controllers should always be cleaned.

I just looked up Sega Saturn Model 2 Controller and they go for around $40-$60 and an adaptor goes for $19. I'm looking for something a bit cheaper.
