Is that a common opinion on Ristar? I actually liked that stage(along with all the others). Even the water level was great which we all know how rare that is.

I love Dynamite Headdy, but the gameplay itself is very basic and not really fun

And Ristar, this on the genesis/MD. All 3 have amazing soundtracks and their own style.

RKA just loved how it looks with that cartoon look and a story telling like a S&K where you don't need words to understand something is going on in that world with a progression each new area. The rocket system was pretty fun, despite Sparkster sequel or Snes version not being that good or memorable as a whole like the original was, but the rocket system was better in those

D.Headdy is just unique and have many hidden shit(YOU FOUND A SECRET BONUS POINT). Hard as shit in level 6 or so when you reach that flying are with Maruyama throwing shit at Headdy.
That basketball mini-game was too much fun.

RKA is one of my favorite games ever. Shame none of the sequels even come close.

You don't need open spaces for the jet pack. Many times you have to use the jet pack in enclosed spaces so you can bounce off the walls which was important in various levels, hell one of the bosses was just a room that moved downward and was going to crush you if you weren't making your bounces.

Rocketknight adv is a fantastic game only dragged down by it's soundchip, furry character design and tons of invincibility "frames" but I think modern kids love that shit. Overall excellent game, just not too fond of the points I just listed.

Yes, the music is outstanding for megadrive. And the composition is epic. I just mean it sounds like its in a tin can or something. The audio itself sounds weird and a bit annoying. It's not as clean as snes or amiga music.

Well, since I never heard a megadrive track that didn'T sound like like a donkey pissing into a tin bucket, even thought the donkey got insane music talent, I have to say I disagree. If there is a megadrive track that doesn'T give me a headache after 20 minutes I havent found it and i would be glad to hear that it is possible. Until then no song, even if the brinstar theme was translated to he megadrive soundchip, will sound enjoyable to me. I understand that the technology is better on the megadrive, but for my taste it failed. Yes a unicycle is technologically more advanced than a shoes, but still it's easier to get to work with shoes than on a unicycle.
