The problem is finding a rar of ePSXe with all necessary plugins, I remember it took me a bit of time back then, though I dunno if there's an official recommended release now since I haven't tried PSX emulation in years.

Other than using the original disc, I'm sure you can run a rip made with Alcohol 120% in virtual drive and obtain the same results, since Alcohol 120% has many things to rip various kinds of protected games, pic related.

It's because you're trying to play the PAL version. Either download a proper dump with subchannel data intact or go for the US copy.

Get a proper emulator while you're at it.

Use proper rip, make sure to choose option to load additional subchannel file. Most modern emulators support that option.

Or just use the non-PAL version that doesn't suffer from LibCrypt.
