I didn't like the Playstation Clock Towers.

Clock Tower 1 (snes + enhanced PS1 version, but I've never played the PS1 version and I assume loading is annoying) and Clock Tower 3 are the best.

They are completely different games. In fact, the playstation version was called Clock Tower 2 in Japan.

I agree. I played the original American PS1 Scissorman Clock Tower (CT2 in Japan) back in the early 2000's and, while I never finished it I did enjoy it.

I watched a let's play of the clock tower pictured above and it is boring as hell.

The epitome of "so bad it's good" horror with the most random and apeshit plot in a game.

The gameplay is a chore but to be honest I had fun dealing with the horrible experience. Like, "how can this game's story/gameplay get any more shitty?"

The first two Clock Towers on the other hand are some of my favorite games of all time and are quite good.
