There's no debate to have, everybody knows which game is better. The only debate is whether Cross is complete shit or just disappointing compared to its predecessor.

Even without all the CT references, there was a lot of lost potential you could see in the story and game play. Many plot points were just dropped or rushed, and there are so many characters that it was hard to implement the Double and Tripple techs or individual development.

Still a fun game by it self though.

Cross should've had no connection at all to Trigger if they were only going to half ass it. Ruining Trigger's happy ending by killing off its characters is no way of doing so.

One had the fantastic three, the other don't. This is the closest you can get to a supergroup.

CT is the superior ludo, CC is the superior kino.

As a yurofag that has no nostalgia for them (as I played the first one through the wonders of emulation and the second one thanks to the local pirate) I must say that CC is the more intriguing game of the two, CT is just back to the future with dragon ball characters. The two dimensions of CC are a infinity more interesting
plot hook than time travel.
