Most japs are pretty bad, i have no idea where shoryuken dot com ever came up with the concept that japanese players are decent. The top japanese players are good, but the average jap is pretty bad.

before 2010 the best players would be from europe and the usa. I feel that has changed dramatically in recent years as i found that 3rd world countries are getting so bloody good.

A few months ago i lost like 0 to 20 to some no-name turkish player in CE. I never was so impressed with any player in 25 of playing street fighter. Forgot the name, but damn this guy was sick.

Gotcha, I have some friends doing the same thing. I do all my audio work on a 2006 Mac Pro that I hacked to run 10.11 (it can run 10.4 - 10.11 for any legacy software needs). I do most of my work in Reason though so I don't have any OS limitations. I don't care for laptops in general, so I can't imagine doing my music work on one, hence the ancient desktop.

Almost all audio work is done on macOS/OS X, everything else is a joke comparitively. Windows audio support is laughably bad, and Linux is even worse. Linux has its strengths, audio is not one of them. People who do audio work in Windows do it to be contrarian despite its horrible flaws.
