Just found out Disneyquest is closing on July 3rd. I remember going as a kid and I remember it being pretty fucking hype. Shame it's being phased out in favor of normalfag shit. Anyone else remember it?

Noooooo!
I think that was their last holdout in the parks
Downtown Disney still has games at their EPSN/sports bar shit
The Contemporary hotel still has a small arcade with ski-ball and a few games
During the golden age, Disney had the best arcades
Disney World used to have an arcade on Main St and always had the newest in electronic amusements
I got to play this one (pic) in the 70s
It was massively multiplayer for it's time
>to make way for the NBA Experience
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
FUCKING NORMIES

I fucking remember it being so good.
Wish there were more places where you paid once at the door and all the stuff is free.
Only other place I know that does that is Heart of Gaming in Croydon.

Wonder what they'll do with all the arcade machines.

>bought a subscription for Disney Quest
>a neckbeard was playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 all day
>he was pulling insane 99x combos one after the other and I saw him nearly everyday at every hour on the same machine
>grab the Street Fighter 2 machine
>some kid comes up to me
>"wow street fighter 2! it's my favorite game, can i play it too?"
>think it's the cutest thing ever, the kid is only 11 years old
>"s-sure"
>he's actually good at the game
>play with him for 3 hours until his parents pick him up
>Disney Quest was one of the the first time in 16 years someone played video games next to me
The one time I stayed at a Disney resort they had a few arcade cabinets in small rooms near the pools, hopefully at least THOSE will still stick around. Had stuff like Defender, Star Wars, Time Crisis, etc.. Wasn't bad at all.
Come join us at Cedar Point
Would anyone in Florida be up to meet up there on the last day?

Probably auction them off to collectors or put them in their resorts

This is how it ends, not with a bang, but with a BOOM SHAKALAKA
>>4035694
Do they not have that at Universal Orlando already?
>>4035705
They will either sell them off or just move them.

I hate myself for laughing

I remember spending the entire day at Starcade in Disneyland's Tomorrowland back in the late 80's while my family did all of the rides. Now it just sits empty. Well, aside from the chunk of it they turned into a Star Wars gift shop at least.
