I want to play Beneath A Steel Sky, the classic 1994 cyberpunk point 'n' click game, but the Linux version is all fucked up.

Should I just watch a playthrough on youtube now, or should I wait for approx. 5 months until I have access to a Windows PC?

I mainly want to play it for the story.

Compile it yourself from the source code I guess. You definitely lose out on a lot not playing through yourself unless your plan was to play straight from a guide anyway.

I'm using Arch. I just installed ScummVM last week from the official community repository (pacman -S scummvm). I just downloaded BaSS from emuparadise to see if I could help you out, and it works just fine in ScummVM.

So, I don't understand your problem.
