I was totally fine when people referred to overall art-styles as comfy. That's a great use of the word. Another good use is when you're describing general slow-paced game mechanic as comfy, like gardening or farming.
But how the fuck can wall jumping be considered comfy? Never have I played something like Ninja Gaiden and thought to my fucking self: Gosh, this sure is cozy here.

I think OP means that it's comfortable to use. It comes naturally when you have it, and can be joyful just to use when playing a game, like how Super Mario 64 was made to be fun to control before any objectives were made.
