Is there such thing /vr/? I do own several genuine ones, but I was wondering if there's some reliable third party ones.
I recall some of the early multiblock ones had issues after a while, however I'm not aware of any later era good ones.
they're all shit, and most have issues with working in PS2s.

Sure, some of them are worse than others, but not all of them are equally bad. Later generation ones did not used compression, and supposedly still are very reliable. The newer ones, which were featuring LCD screens, according to many, still work perfectly fine, even with the PS2.
Just buy official ones. I still pick up one a week at the flea market for $3 and have a whole box full.

I have like 10 memory cards and I have at least 5-6 official and not that they have lost all the save and no longer save, how can I fix it?

Most probably some chip or some trace on their motherboard went bad, unless you have some major soldering skills, you can't do much.
I'm surprised not to see someone making new PS1 memory cards, like with LCD screens and microsd inputs and so on.
i have 5 memory cards all different and they all work.

What a thread

I've used pic related since the early 2000s and have never had an issue with it. It was a gift from my best friend. That being said, I back things up with a dexdrive, just to be safe.
Don't some games have issues with unlicensed memory cards? I've seen reviews of people not being able to save certain games on third party unlicensed memory cards but on other games they could.

Early generation third party ones had many problems, most of them friend within a year or so. Some more recent memory cards, mainly cheap Chinese clones also are known for their unstable behavior.
