It's a gimmicky stage that has fuck all to do with platforming. I want a challenging mario level, not balloon fight with crappier controls

I like Funky other than the fact that it has a 200 second time limit. Groovy gets props for being the title screen level. That was really cool in 1991. Mondo has a great gimmick to it and Outrageous sort of embodies the entire Special World.

I honestly didn't have a problem with Tubular. I think I beat it on my third try.

Awesome, on the other hand, took me like 4 hours of non-stop attempts to get past.

I've played Super Mario World many times since it came out and I haven't noticed Groovy is the level from the title screen, or that green berries restore time.
I probably never paid attention since I'm always rushing on these levels.
