I don't see any reason for a new Gex game.

A friend and I had the idea that Gex retired to start an ISP and had a kid with another lizard lady.

The result is a teenage sperg named Kamal the Chameleon. He visits his dad (who is divorced from his wife) and ends up bugging him about all his nerd shit.

Inevitably the kid gets zapped into his own computer and has to do 2D platform shit to get out, while his dad is fooling around on his social media and making witty comments.
