*neglected
>>3988053
Pull the trigger.
Both of them.
>>3988056
Yes
>>3988057
The vending machines don't have proper damage modelling. But you can kill civillians without consequence, in fact some civillians have secret handguns so your encouraged to practically. Also in the ending you do murder this woman as the credits roll.
You clearly never played it fagit.
>>3988061
>You clearly never played it fagit.
did he say he did? what's up your butt?
>>3988061
>You clearly never played it fagit.
So you're not only an English-impaired ESL shitposter, you're also an autist who doesn't know how to reply to a fellow anon who's sympathetic to your shitty thread.
Good job

I find it enduring somehow.
It's too bad there seems to be something wrong with the mission planning screen, it thinks your mouse is higher than it actually is so you can never actually reach some critical parts of the screen.
Other than that great stealth/war game.
>>3988050
Quite possibly the stupidest title ever but some good clean open-ended fun. Also fuckhueg maps. Also bullets go through wood!
>>3988269
Endearing
>>3988317
thanks

It is kinda weird how you can instantly tell if something in "anime style" is drawn by a westerner or an actual jap even without other context clues, like the drawing style is coded in their DNA or something.
>>3988050
It was pretty fun watching Gundam Stardust Memories years after I played Shogo and discovering that game stole like 90% of its sound effects from it.
>>3988050
>neglected 3D accelerated FPS games.
What did you mean by this?
>>3988334
shogo is just an ugly game to be honest
>>3988306
Sounds like the porno name for a military setting.
no idea if it's retro but chaser
>>3988334
Because when professional anime artists do anime, their goal is to make it look good, when western artists attempt anime, their goal is typically just to make it look a bit like anime by just slapping bug eyes on stuff and making Akira/Sailor Moon/[insert popular anime here] trace overs. I get that Shogo is supposed to copy Anime art direction with all the bug eyed characters and everything, but it just ends up looking ugly, like they just got an intern who does art on his geocities or Larry Bundy Jr. to do all the graphics.
>>3988601
Shogo has a fucking nice color scheme and kino tier explosions senpai.
>>3988050
>that segment, where you need to find a fucking catMAGICCLAW
>>3988340
>What did you mean by this?
what did he mean by this?
>>3988656
>you get to keep the toyfor the rest of the game
>that joke about the cat being eaten
>that lewd reference
I miss 90's games
>>3988340
It's self evident
>>3988050
>>3988306
I once tried running in one direction for an hour to see where I'd end up. Just more map, huge can't be understated.
>>3988703
That piece of shit deserves to be neglected.
>>3988050
>when games show inflationary prices to show that they are a future dystopia.
>12 years later the prices aren't even outrageous any more
>>3990146

>>3990153

KEK
Is Shogo easy to mod? I could try to model decent anime faces for the game.
>>3988269
This is just a trace of old hentai pics floating on early 90's interwebs.
>>3990146
The only bad thing about SoF2 were those jungle levels.
It even was the first game with some sort of bullet time.
>>3991892
You know, One Must Fall is like the only game that I can think of right now that actually got it somewhat right without looking too much like out of an "HOW 2 DRAW ANIME"-book.
>>3991892
Anime is cringy shit no matter if it's made by Japs or Americans.
>>3991897
Which is weird, because on the /co/ side there has been a lot more successful imitators. I am not an expert on VNs, but it seems like some Western ones also have passable anime art.
What I wonder about Shogo and the like is, couldn't the developers have hired one or two Japanese artists to oversee the art direction? Maybe some expats living in the US to avoid telecommuting and save the costs of having to fly them in from Japan.
>>3991892
>before Westerners really learned to imitate anime.
But this never happened
Tried to play the GOG version that I pirated but the game doesn't run.
Windows 10.

What problems are you running into? Go on the GOG website to their troubleshooting pages on the game. I had a bug in the game where cutscenes ran really fast and would cut off before they ended. The fix to my problem was limiting the FPS to 60. But your problem is likely documented on the GOG website or someone on the forums there has solved it.
>>3991916
I honestly think it's partly parody, plus graphical limitations.
