If I had a "dream" gaming setup it would just be the living room of my old shitty apartment where I had an old crummy couch with a cheap coffee sitting in front of it. And about six feet away on the other wall I had three GIANT CRT monitors with various systems hooked up to them. And I mostly played ps3 and emulated games on them. That was the most comfy setup I've ever had.

It's only difficult if you need to arrange them in individual compartments for display with lighting, etc. I just use regular cabinets. Wide ones with a vertical divider and adjustable horizontal ones and put the consoles side by side. The even have doors keep dust, rugrats and virginity away. In one room I have 14 consoles hooked up and you'd never know it unless you went looking.

You can use a harddrive, HDLOADER and a network adapter to load ISO's, and manage them with winhiip from the netowrk port, works like a charm, haven't used the dvd drive for years. The problem is the network adapters, they are starting to get pricy.

As far as I know it runs ps1 isos too, but never tried, I think it uses an emulator, not the proper ps2 system for running ps1 games.

If your dvd reader it's dead I'd give it a go.

luckily i already have a few pvms but was looking for a friend who wanted a 19/20 inch and found a good deal on a seller who had two.

from what i understand my friend's pvm arrived without issue.

i already have good consumer sets but the RGB out of a pvm is quite a bit better than my Sony Trinitron KV-27FV310

NEVER buy from eBay unless A: seller has literally 100% feedback or B: somebody bought a CRT and left positive feedback. Preferably both. Get freight shipping if it's an option, no matter how expensive. If it doesn't show as a option, ask the seller if they will do it. Stay the fuck away from UPS and FedEx.

Or, better yet, fuck eBay entirely, buy local, call your TV stations, save money and stop contributing to inflated meme prices.

I can understand having all your shit hooked up if your doing streaming or a let's play channel, but I favor having only a few systems hooked up at once.

My problems is that it's a fucking rat nest every time I see a setup where it's all plugged in.

I don't see why OP is cringe when it's proably the nicest looking setup compared to the fire hazards people often have.
