Why hasn't this game been topped yet as far as comfy levels go?
No sim city since has been this comfy. The music alone is just like a warm blanket.

I just love winter time in Snes Sim City, feels so comfy. I think the Snes version was the only one to implement graphical changes for the seasons.

They did drop the ball on the metropolis music. You hear that for way too long and it's way too harsh.

Well they could have just added some different conditions for changing the music. Like maybe Metropolis stage gets one track per season, whereas the others get one track period. Or maybe it gets a few tracks and they rotate through every few years.
