Today i want to share the "KiraKira Star Night DX - Perfect Book"-CD. This time they also managed to make a clean CD, means the CD-Image should mount properly.
BIN-CUE:

Hope you appreciate.
As mentioned before, when i get the cards to me, i will dump and share those too.
Anyway, this was also mentioned in the KirKira book:

Sadly you can only download the Demo-NES-ROM file there. Hope the full version appears somewhere/sometime too.

Nice, thank you.
Appreciate it, based OP.
On another note, does anyone know if these recent Riki carts (8 Bit Music Power/Final, Kira Kira Star Night) work on an Everdrive? I would assume not because of custom mappers or some shit, but I don't know for certain.
>>3969323
Yes, those work fine for me on (official) Everdrive.
>>3969327
Awesome, thanks for clarifying that. I was going to buy the actual cartridges to play on my AV modded Famicom, but I read too many reports of those carts having trouble with real hardware, so I said fuck it.
Now to search for those roms.
>>3969076
YEAHHHHHHH! YOU DID IT!
OK so you gotta beat the game in Level 1 to get the code for debug mode
Beat the game in Level 2 for the code to play as Nyuu-chan.
>>3969076
WEW
Excellent work OP!
Since the DX version's ROMs were packed directly into the executables, I've extracted them out for your pleasure. Now you can run the game on any emulator you please...

Last level of Level 2 is such bullshit.
yessss i'm so going to play the shit out of it
Thank you so much, friend. Sharing is caring.
>>3970735
You are creepy
>>3970735
>almost naked
Only her face, shoulders and zettai ryouiki are showing.
Get off /vr/, Muhammad. Don't you have some women to stone for not wearing their burqas, or something?
>>3970751
Don't reply to it.
>>3970772
Say "Thank you, SIR".
>>3970735
you're not even trying anymore
she's not naked, but the center part of her clothes looks like skin because lol NES colors
overall she's more covered than average kid on the beach
>>3970448
OP here.
Nice thanks, i also wanted to look into this, but don't have much time right now. With what tool have you done it? Just saw it's likely deflate/zlib.
>>3969076
Danke OP
>>3969076
>>3970448
THANKS bros this game is cute as fuck. Good Work
Is it possible to get a rip of the songs in mp3 of the other 2 carts? I have one already for 8bmpFINAL, the one that was on youtube.
>>3969484
I realized something.
Sprites have a color palette of 4. However more often the fourth color is reserved for transparency. The case being for the dancing girl here, she doesn't need to worry about transparency since the background's black and so are her outlines... So she can have black, white, red, and pink without worry.
>>3970991
I used Cheat Engine to extract the ROM data from the memory. Pretty lame but it works.
>We now have ROMS for 8 Bit Music Power, and KiraKira Star Night DX thanks to some based anons from this thread and last.
Life is pretty damn good, thank you guys.
ROM For 8BMP Final when?
Was this cart hard to get, or did no one want to pay for it? It seems like you can just order it online.

>>3971947
The 1st color of any sprite pallet is always transparency on the NES. you can't change that behavior.
>>3972163
Oh! So her black outlines are just see-through!
>>3972173
lewd
>>3972173
yes, the background is black so the transparency acts as ink color, giving the ilusion of cartoon character
also, the girl can bounce off walls, which is useful for more tricky patterns
>>3973456
also, stage ends when timer ends AND player lands on the floor. so you can do an extra jump right before stage ends for additional stars
>>3972147
>ROM For 8BMP Final when?
I'm waiting for dumper in the mail. From my experience, it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive here.
>>3974392
You rule, anon.
>>3970448
Same guy here. Also, NSF-rips. I'll do 8bit Music Power Final when it's out.

I think it's amazing that the really dedicated fans of old media do stuff like this. It's one thing to make a game that looks like a famicom game, but to actually make a game that can work on it is a different matter entirely.
>>3977706
It makes all the difference in the world, for sure.
>>3977746
http://nesdev.com/
Describing everything else is too much. But if you never coded anything, then it will be a very very very high learning curve, you better start learning programming in general before doing something like this. Consoledev for especially old consoles requires very high knowledge of coding and understanding the console which is no easy task in any way. Also this is off topic, please start another Thread for this if you need more.
I think you niggas are crazy. All the ROMs are on the disc.
>>3977761
Nope. The original Kira Kira Star Night IS on the disk in ROM form, but the DX version is enclosed in a VirtuaNES executable.
>>3977760
Sounds good, I'll look into it and see just how much work is needed. Thank you, kind anon. I really appreciate it.
Back on topic, anyone here buy one of the Riki cartridges and have trouble playing them on original hardware?
A buddy of mine can't get his 8 Bit Music Power to play on his AV Famicom, and it doesn't work on my AV modded red white either. Strangely enough, it works on one of those N64 controller famiclones though.
>>3977785
have final and kira, play on my famicom just fine. hear the first one has issues with original hardware and needs to be fixed. don't remember. it there someone who does replacements of the game .
Love all the art here.
>>3979335
MY DICK!do you draw lewds?
>>3979458
I used to, but that's an image from the digital book included in the CD OP linked
