What the fuck is up with McDonald's games actually not being shit?
Like, how could you expect a video game licensed by a fast food chain to no suck?

This game is not bad. In fact I'd say is pretty good, same with the Mega Drive Mc Donald's game made by Sega in Japan.
Hell, M.C. Kids has better platforming physics than many of the later Virgin platformers on 16-bit systems.

McDonald's just has the money to spend and care about their brand enough to do so.

Remember Domino's Noid? He got his own NES game and it sucked.

Reskin of a Famicom game.

Why would you? I don't think bad fast food games were ever a serious problem
>>
As the story goes, Virgin, the developers of MC Kids actually gave a shit about this project and tried to make the best game they could. McDonalds felt it didn't plug McDonalds food enough and as consequence didn't really drop much money on advertising it.

This sounds like the video game equivalent to KFC's comic books actually being really good. I think most of the time fast food sponsored versions of entertainment media will be bad, but there's always going to be one or two rare instances of them turning out surprisingly good instead.

Wtf are you on that game was awesome

The 7up one for snes was fun too. It's weird because you of course would never expect them to be good. Same holds true for those based on movies. I love 5th gen but it seems that's when things started going down hill for these types of games.
>>
>le McDonald's is le shit meme

Anyone who tries to push this meme... just stop. McDonald's is nutritious, calorie-dense food for an affordable price. Also helps that it tastes awesome.
>>
It was a well done Mario clone

>That feel when no Wendy's game

They're the only fast food joint thats got a cute girl for a mascot, you'd think they'd do something with her.

Maybe it's just me, but this is starting to overstay its welcome fast.
>>
>>3955840
You mean the uh, smug twitter meme?
>>
>>3955835
Americans are not interested in playing as a scrawny little girl.

Lol. It's candy in food-shapes.

Would be awesome with a hack of Minky Momo or something.
>>
>>3955854
Well, I haven't been advertised TO in a very long while because of ad-blocker so it doesn't bother me so much as I'm seeing it as a more novelty than anything, seeing Wendy's or Old spice in a different light. The reason why I listed Old Spice is because I'd prefer the ads to be clever or funny rather than boring or stupid if I AM going to be advertised to.
>>
>>3955856
Oh hey it's the loli that gets run over by a car.
>>
>>3955841
Dave Thomas would never allowed it to happen were he still alive today. Wendy's was always about humility under his guidance.
>>
>>3956034
Times change, humility in women is seen as weakness in modern times.
>>
>>3954930
>and it sucked.

no it didn't
>>
Remember when Pushover was skinned into a Quavers game?
>>
>>3954941
Which just goes to show how little of a fuck Domino's gave that they couldn't even bother to make their own game, just copy someone else's for as cheaply as they could get away with.
>>
>>3956071
You mean there was a version without the product placement?
>>
>>3955584
It's actually the perfect food

>affordable to all
>widely available
>enough calories to live off of
>all basic food groups are covered

The problem only comes in when people refuse to exert any self control and binge on it, but that can be true of any food. Living 100% off bananas is just as unhealthy.

Don't forget they have the most diversity in their advertisements; McDonald's makes it clear that ALL are welcome inside the golden arches.
>>
>>3956315
well-fed* fuck
>>
>>3956161
You're right
>>
>>3954941
A lot of NES games were just reskins of each other.
>>
>>3957558
I'll have you know that Mario Brothers 2 in America was actually a reskin of a Japanese Famicom Disk System game called Doki Doki Panic and the Mario Brothers 2 in Japan we never got ended up as the Lost Levels in Mario Allstars which also had a fuck-up in the physics when you hit the blocks.
>>
>>3957673

^^ This. Really cool factoid.
>>
Mc Kids is ultimate comfy
>>
>>3957673
This sounds like a "that kid" story. Do you have a single piece of evidence to back this up?
>>
>>3955835
there could be a really awesome bayonetta type game with wendy as the protag. i think it should happen.
>>
>>3954925
Heavily disagree. M.C.Kids was child junk. I remember streaming it in 2011 and we made it to the end of the first stage and hit a teleport that takes you back to the start. Shit like that is everywhere in the game, making it totally and entirely not enjoyable.
