Apple EarPods actually sound great on a Game Boy and are actually the most comfortable earbuds available, in my opinion.
The sound is also great, and this is coming from an extreme richfag audiophile with a THX 11.2 surround sound setup for his home cinema and a THX 6.1 surround sound setup for his retro gaming setup, which also has a BVM CRT, to boot.

As for games, get Link's Awakening, it's a great classic.

Apple earbuds are also what I use for my iPhone and literally every handheld I have.

That is, if I don't plug them into either of my surround sound setups.

Also, I have a pair of HDMI surround sound headphones but I rarely use it for my PC, home consoles or Blu-rays since I prefer playing the audio on either of my surround sound setups.

I just prefer Apple earbuds since they have the perfect balance between audio quality and comfort.

And I don't want some meme like Skullcandy, Bose or Beats.

So Apple earbuds are actually quite good.
