i love the aesthetic/lore of the this game. definitely one of my favourites, right up there with classic MK and KI. great character design and cool backstories for all. gameplay is badass too. kind of reminds me of like a more primitive soul calibur.

Weaponlord is one of the best fighters of the 16 bit era, with some really interesting mechanics. Supposedly it inspired Soul Blade.

I don't think it was very good , pretty clunky as I remember but still some fond memories of Mace The Dark Age. I think I will have to see how well it emulates considering 64 emulation sucks

My brother and I still play Mace The Dark age almost every weekend. It's stupid but I would bet we're probably some of the best in the world at it right now. So useless.

I always liked Last Bronx on the Saturn. Not a great game but fun to mess around on.

It's true. Darkstalkers is very well known because Morrigan, but very few people play it at all which means there really isn't a reason to talk about it. Other than the occasional person chiming in that they like it here I can't think of a single big discussion about it, even in dedicated threads.

I remember when I was super excited to get a burned copy of Fighting Vipers 2 on Dreamcast. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be.

I found Tech Romancer last year and loved it. It plays damn well on MAME and had a Dreamcast release.

I know a bit about Advanced V.G. 2, some combos, how some characters work. I know there's a small Japanese scene for it that play it every year at an event called Kyuugeki. As far as 90s waifu fighting games go, it's one of the best.

But I can't do this combo to save my life. The dummy always recover from hitstun before I get to land the second rush move, after the fireball super.
