ITT: Terrible game mechanics

Terrible because it's the easier levels?
>>3942150
those are literally git gud mechanics
>>3942150
I'm not seeing any game mechanics outlined here, just level design.
>get in car to go to work
>back out of the driveway without looking behind
>hit parked car
>"what the fuck, how was I supposed to see that? fucking shit design"
>start driving
>pedestrian in crosswalk ahead
>don't slow down and run him over
>"fuck you, how am I supposed to react to this trial and error bullshit?"
>get on freeway
>going 80mph, change lanes without looking at mirror
>smash into other car and both of us crunch into the wall
>"who's gonna check to see if that's there? this is fundamentally flawed"
>taken to court and sued an enormous fine for causing the accident
>"wow, you think that's enough fucking artificial difficult? fuck this"

You jest but in a generation or two nobody will know these things anymore because cars will do it all for them.
>>3942179
Yeah, I agree, lots of retards making threads.

You don't know how that puzzle works? If you don't take exactly the path outlined by the arrows the corridor loops around and you'll be stuck forever.

Guard crush

It's not a difficult puzzle at all. The game tells you when you've gotten the solution right after each decision point, so even if you got it wrong each time, the maximum number of times you would have to try it is 7. Usually a difficult, late game stage in platformer will require a lot more than 7 attempts just to beat it.

It's slightly more frustrating on the NES since it doesn't do a buzzer or bell sound when you get the wrong or right path.
