Man, I wake up today thinking of Mega Man 3's soundtrack.
I consider it superior to MM2's seemingly unanimous popular preference, not only in quality and advanced use of the sound chip capabilities, but also in actual composition.
I find it hard to believe that MM3 rushed as it so well done in every department.

I've heard those too much. Hearing each of them in a total of 4 stages each (granted, out of 8 3 of these stages are very short but still) is way too repetitive.
I think the Protoman castle theme is particularly unfitting for Stage 2 which would have deserved a more gritty theme.

Funny thing is that I don't think there is enough space in the Sound Bank left to even have another song, perhaps that's the reason.
