I loved this game as a kid, completed it 100%
Anyone else?
Been there, done that.
Got 100% in it last year.
Was alright.
Played it a few years ago. All I needed to do was complete the VR Mission and I would have 100%. I just stopped playing it since I was busy with The Last of Us.
Been thinking about finishing it lately. I remember that C4 mission where you had to place them on a guard and detonate them when he was near the cameras. fuck that drove me nuts.
I bet it would feel amazing to first 100% vr missions and then play metal gear solid. It'd be like receiving actual in universe combat training before tackling the real thing. Might try that with substance vr since it's been a while.

I didn't even know you COULD attach C4 to guards until I finally gave up and looked it up. I assume you could in the real MGS1 too but you never, ever needed to.
I did after playing MGS1 for the first time last year on the PS3 legacy collection, it included vr missions so why not. I noticed the first 5 or so are the tutorial at the beginning of the game, then it's more of the same each time with more hazards and guards.
I completed it so I guess it's not bad, but most of the missions were easy or annoying, some of them were fun though. The motivation to complete the game was to unlock the Fox Gray mode, which was very short and kind of disappointing.
The girls 3D models are also very creepy!
I did, didn't even have MGS1 at the time
