Only played Miracle World and Shinobi. Shinobi was sightly better and more fun. Miracle World was a bitch when I was 5yo

Hmm I never found it appealing...
Miracle World felt pretty groundbreaking for a 1986 platformer with lots and cool ideas, whereas Enchanted Castle to me looked dated even when it was new

Even for it's time, the in-game version is somewhat goofy (but a little sexy) in it's presentation, but I can't imagine being a kid at the time and stripping a chick mostly-naked in a normal old Sega game. It's not like it's some "adult" game either. Must have been an amusing surprise to some, especially the parents.
