Does anyone else have trouble abandoning games? I'm not even enjoying this garbage but I feel like I have to beat it before playing games I actually want to (Link's Awakening and Donkey Kong)

Nope. Unless it has a ton of promise, or has mostly been great up to that point, I will drop any game that's not fun. My gaming time is limited and the competition is high, I have no use for games I don't enjoy.

I farmed hearts like a motherfucker in the first game, which is honestly one of my favorite titles ever. Haven't gotten around to the sequel, though I know a bit about it.

Is the KI sequel good? Be honest.
I actually love the original KI, it is awesome once you make it far enough into the game. And it was developed by the creator of Metroid, so you know what he is capable of. Gunpei Yokoi only developed a handful of games before his death and KI2 is one of them, so I wonder if it is decent or not? From what I have seen it doesn't look great.

It depends. If I'm like 3/4 trough a game I will probably finish it even if I don't enjoy it anymore. Though it happened a few times that I even dropped stuff like 90% trough the game.
